Two days
The past two mornings I’ve run with my neighbor, Doug Huff, who is a very good runner (he’s done marathons in under three hours). Yesterday we ran 6.2 miles in 0:54. Today, 7 miles in 1:00. That’s about the same pace (8:45/mile) each day.
It’s great to run with someone, but my toes need a break; I’m still getting back into the rhythm of regular runs, and I’ve got a few blisters. I am starting to think size 13 shoes might be a little short, though I’ve worn that size in New Balance and Saucony for a while.
Anyway, I’ll probably do four miles Thursday and see if I’m up for a 10K on Friday. Then I could go out with the Macomb Road Runners next Sunday morning.
