Since I’m teaching MWF this semester, until I get the hang of things, I’m running on Tuesday and Thursday.
Tuesday, 7 miles with Doug, 0:58:54, for 8:22/mi average.
Today, 8.4 miles along, 1:11:16, for 8:29/mi. I ran the first four miles today—with the wind at my back—in 32:06. But I picked up a $%*! gut cramp at about 40 minutes. However, I was able to stop and work it out, using Dennis’s “bend and grind” technique (bend at the waist, and knead the spot where the cramp is). So, progress.
