Short and long

Very busy this week, so only one more short run: 4/19, 4 mi, 32:06 (8:02/mi).

I finally got in a long run this afternoon, running into the sun with a little breeze in my face. I flirted with 12 miles, but felt a little too thirsty four miles out to do six-and-back. Instead, I ran home, had some water, and tacked on two more miles after that. (I should either wear my effin Camelbak, or drive out into the country where I run and hide a gallon jug of water at the four mile mark.)

Anyway, 4/23, 10 miles, 1:30:01 (9:00/mi). I ran this distance once this year—about two months ago. I’ll push for twelve next week and see what happens. Doug is talking about FIRST training again. Probably a good idea.
