Speed: 8/29, 3 x 2000m, 8:53, 8:38, 8:32 (7:03/mi or better).
Tempo: 8/31, 4 miles, 31 minutes (7:45/mi).
Long: 9/2, 20 miles, 2:58 (8:53/mi). Great weather: humid, but cool (60° 100% rh). Pretty good run, but it could have been better. At 10 miles my right knee started to hurt, with a pretty sharp pain. Hrm. At that point I had been running 8:25/mi pace and feeling great. I tried to bull through it, but by 15 miles it really started to bug me. So I dropped to a walk a few times. Better that than get injured, since the marathon is three weeks from tomorrow.
