Forty is the new eighty

It broke 40° today! It’s windy, but at least I didn’t feel like someone was rubbing ice on my forehead when I walked to school today. Actually, it felt warm. Erin and I laughed about this as we went to the Y: four years ago, 40° would meant running the heat, multiple layers, and shivering. Now? It’s cause for celebration: got to get out and enjoy this!

So I must, MUST get my lazy butt out on the road. Running has been scarce this year. I suck.

Yes. What you said. Ditto for upstate NY today. (Your weather has reached us.) And I saw runners in shorts, lacrosse players in shorts (though presumably they were playing indoors, since we still have 18″ of snow on the ground). 40 is the new 80.

    The weather is finally warmer.
