Loopy

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

I am getting back into the swing of running, with two 8.4 mile runs on this loop in the past three days:

5/30 1:19:49 (9:25/mi)

Running at C&W

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

Made a few chilly laps around the Wayne State campus this AM. Not sure how far, but 40 minutes of running. Two stops to strech near the end of the run.
Tomorrow I’m running with Dan. Hopefully I can get in a Saturday AM run as well.

Welcome Baby Rice!

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

Vered Magnolia Rice is here.
Such good news. I hope Jenny is sleeping and snuggling with her new girl. It’s hard to believe Jeff was able to write through the labor. Good for him. I hardly had time to use the bathroom when Madelyn was born.

Slow but out there

Saturday, May 12th, 2007

I ran today—slowly, only for 20 minutes, and stopping often to stretch my still-tight right hamstring.
But I ran, dammit.
Let’s hope I do so again tomorrow.

Seriously cute

That’s my serious girl!

I pushed the button

…and now I am running Ubuntu 7.04. Pow. Fonts still stink, but both my workstations (home and office) are running smoothly.

I meant to post this a week ago, but my life doesn’t have an “Upgrade” button, or even a “Grade” button, much to my chagrin.
