Erin just pointed this out to me: those “too busy” to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches need not worry; Big Food has got it covered.

Made possible by
Ha! Those have been around since at least 2003.
/they’re actually not bad
//I was in a big hurry and grabbed one at a snack bar on the U of Minnesota campus on a few occasions
I first learned about those a few years ago. I was walking through the frozen food aisle, and passed two guys in their 20s. Just as I passed them and heard the following conversation:
Guy 1: “Dude, frozen PBJ!”
Guy 2: “You’re not buying those.”
Guy 1: “But they’re PBJ! And they’re pre-made!”
Guy 2: “You can make one. You’re not getting them.”
Guy 1: “You don’t need to make them, they’re pre-made.”
Guy 2: “No. If you’re that lazy, I’ll make you a damn sandwich.”
At that point, I walked out of hearing range.
Not bad ain’t good enough for me or my girls!
Done right, the sandwich is perhaps the best food ever. Done wrong, you might as well eat dirt.
I don’t think I would ever eat or serve anything that is an anagram for “Real Cubs Nuts”.
