Yes, the exclamation point is default punctuation for Little Miss Intense.
- Can I watch Dora for a little bit?
- Mama, your toothpaste tastes NASTY!
- Oh. It’s the merry-go-round song again! I turned it on with my foot.
- But we don’t have a rhinoceros!
- Does anybody want to go to the… children’s museum?
- Daddy, you’re sweaty. Get in the shower right now!
- My mouth is EM-PTY!
- This is the mama. She has a baby in her tummy.
- Do cereal bars taste good?
- Miss Poo Poo has problems. But Big Big doesn’t.
- I don’t want to do ANYTHING!
- But I’m not pregnant.
“Does anybody want to go to the… children’s museum?”
I am sure it sounds a lot like, “Does anybody want to…play Legos?”
I am looking forward to unchaining Legos on Madelyn. She’s got a small set of the big blocks, but the little ones are more fun.
I want to go to the children’s museum and play with legos. What does that mean?!
Why does she ask about cereal bars?
Madelyn loves to go to children’s museums. She’s been to the Magic House two or three times, and every time we go to Galesburg we go to the little one there.
The cereal bar thing is an indirect request. Pretty sneaky! She’ll also ask me if I want a cereal bar.
