One Response to Illinois beyond Illinois

  1. That sounds like a good bit of fun. I had a short inspiration of driving in Illinois the summer the last Harry Potter came out. I wanted to listen to the audiobook, so I needed a road trip. I went up the Interstate to about Kankakee and then wandered off to the west till I found what used to be Route 66 and just drove south, looking for the various sites. I did do some advance research to know what to look for and stopped to take pictures and explore along the way. Definitely more interesting than just driving down I-57.
