O coffee

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

I am now drinking my first cup of coffee since Saturday 2/23.
O Coffee! Thou dost dispel all cares, thou are the
object of desire to the scholar.
This is the beverage of the friends of God; it gives
health to those in its service who strive after wisdom.

Columbian expedition

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Erin and Madelyn and I made the short trip to Columbia, Mizzourah last weekend to hang out with Jeff, Jenny, and Vered. With two kids and crummy weather, we didn’t get out much. Besides, there was plenty of football to keep us busy indoors. Although we missed half of the Gator game because of UK-UT [...]

1 or more chicken carcasses

Madelyn eats

Tuesday, October 10th, 2006

Madelyn is a pretty good little eater. So far:
She likes to eat avocados, kiwi, bananas, grapes, oatmeal, currant tomatoes, teething biscuits, applesauce, pears, sweet potatoes, Cheerios, some crackers, peas, yogurt, and spinach.
Sometimes: apples, beets, pancakes, carrots.
But the girl does not like cottage cheese, corn, Cheezit-style crackers, or edamame.
Erin says she’s a “fruitarian.”
