Odds and ends for an Autumn Sunday: pumpkins in a tree, running a 5K, Amelia nearly walking and talking, getting a jump on Spring courses, writing my application for sabbatical leave.

I suppose I shouldn’t be too surprised about this, but there’s a frost warning for tonight. And again Friday. In 2007 we had tomatoes in November. Not this year.

Madelyn: our girl has extended her mobility into the Z dimension; she’s climbing like mad now. Footstools lead to tables lead to trouble. The Bee now pushes chairs around the house to grab stuff which Mama and Daddy thought was “safe.” So, more reasons to keep everything dangerous [...]
Looks like a cold snap is coming. We may even get some snow.
