Last Sunday, Sept 27, 2009, I ran the QC half marathon at 1:49:17, a personal best. Good pacing and I feel great two days later.

FIRST: less means faster

I’m training for the Quad Cities half-marathon (Sept 27) using the Furman Institute for Running and Scientific Training method, “run less, run faster”: three runs and two other workouts a week. Less does not mean easier!
