Composition Forum web editing 

Updating CF to take advantage of our online-only status. Currently testing several content management systems and working with other editors to improve metadata and other things.

• Logic of the default, an essay I submitted for the Reading and Writing New Media collection, but had to withdraw
• Ease (long term)
• Accessibility and content management systems (maybe; this is tabled for now)
• QC Writing Workshop: tabled in early 2007, but recent gift may kickstart it

NCTE position statement on FLOSS 

An argument for open source and free software; we hope CCC and NCTE will adopt it as a position; includes proposals for CCCC 2008 SIG and workshop. This is a collaborative effort, to be sure. We've gotten this to be a NCTE resolution passed at CCCC 2008. (Woo!)
